“From the plantation to your bathroom”.
At The Poodie, transparency is a watchword. Let's explore the journey of our toilet paper together, from bamboo cultivation to final packaging.
Responsible production, even on the other side of the world
At The Poodie, our products are responsibly manufactured in China. We know this may raise questions, especially at a time when supporting the local economy and protecting our planet are priorities for many. However, the truth is that there isn't always a “one-size-fits-all” solution.
Most goods we consume are already produced abroad, and we are fully aware of the great desire to encourage local manufacturing. We fully support this approach, but in our case, we've found a partner who shares our values: quality, respect for working conditions and controlled environmental impact. It's essential to be transparent about our production process. If, in the end, our products don't match your convictions, we understand perfectly. Our role is to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed choice - and continue to contribute, in your way, to a better world.
- Sustainable bamboo plantations
- Primarily located in Asia, where bamboo grows naturally and rapidly.
- Eco-responsible factories
- Our partners comply with strict standards (ISO 14001, FSC, VÉGAN, etc.) to limit pollution and optimize energy consumption.
- Transformation process
- Bamboo is harvested, ground, and transformed into pulp (linked to manufacturing). The pulp is then dried to become paper.
- Minimalist packaging
- We use recyclable cardboard with no superfluous plastic.
- Compensated transport
- We prefer shipping by sea and offset our carbon footprint by financing reforestation projects.
Conclusion
Each The Poodie roll results from a controlled and responsible production chain. From the bamboo plantation to your bathroom, we respect the planet and support the local economy.
